Student Tools UK is committed to your privacy. All calculators run entirely in your browser — no data you enter is ever sent to a server or stored anywhere outside your device.
Every calculation runs locally using JavaScript. Your loan balances, grades, budget figures and other inputs are never transmitted, stored or shared with anyone.
We use browser localStorage only to remember your light/dark theme preference. This stays on your device and is never shared.
We use anonymised Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (page views, traffic sources). No personal data is collected. Opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
We display ads via Google AdSense. These may use cookies for ad personalisation. Manage preferences via Google Ad Settings.
If you subscribe via our email form, your address is stored with Kit (ConvertKit). Unsubscribe at any time from any email.
All calculators provide estimates for guidance only. Student loan figures, tax rates and maintenance loan amounts change annually — always verify with Student Finance England and HMRC for the most current figures.
